What an unforgetable moment! Despite some clouds at moments, the Sun annular eclipse was perfectly visible form Denia (in Spain). It was so exciting. Notice in the last picture a pale prominence at the lower left, emerging from behind the Moon disk, just before the annular phase.

Partly cloudy skies lend a aura of mystery to the annular eclipse as seen from the edge of Praia Bay on Terceira Island in the Azores, Portugal.

Despite the cloudy weather, the solar eclipse could still be watched by a few dozen observers at the Public Observatory Philippus Lansbergen.
