Here are a couple images of the Venus transit Aureole. This is the bright ring around the part of Venus still off the edge of the sun, and represents sunlight refracting around the Venusian atmosphere. I had to overexpose the image to record it. It was only there for 15 seconds during a small hole in the clouds!
DMK21AU04 camera, red filter, 200 frames stacked.
