Details:
The old Venus season ended with the transit but a new one has just started. For the first time since the transit I made sure it was safe again to put the eye to the eyepiece yesterday afternoon. And I got a fantastic view of the big and bright but extremely thin crescent of Venus. It is 57 and only 8,5° from the Sun. I also photographed the Sun at the same time but of course they are not to scale in the picture. Telescope: WO 110 FLT f/6,5 refractor with a DBK41AF02 camera for Venus and DMK-41AF02 for the Sun with solar filter. Date: 11th of June at 4:35 pm local time
