Details:
Matous, a curious, bright, bilingual (Slovak and English), 5th grader, watched a small protuberance on the sun brighten and extend beyond the suns limb. The activity started at 12:02 EDT and peaked at 12:59. After that the prominence was captured by the suns gravitational pull and returned to the suns limb. Happy solstice to all.
