Details:
At 05:20 with the sky just starting to lighten it was cool seeing both Magellan Clouds again. This mornings planetary and stellar grouping from the left is: M45, Jupiter, Venus in amongst delta 1,2 & 3 Tauri and red Aldebaran which moves to within 1ยบ of Venus on the 8th July. A few clusters and stars easily seen in the pictures are the Hyades, sigma 1 & 2 just to the right of Aldebaran. The constellation of Orion can be seen rising in the right hand side of the wide angle images with bright Rigel the prominent star in the region. By the middle of July the Moon joins in the show offering great photo opportunities. Canon 30D with 18-55mm lens.
