Details:
We started out seeing an auroral bow around 11:00 PM CDT. By midnight, the display had intensified. We saw green and purple rays. It subsided for awhile, but when I went back out around 2:15 AM, it was a very active display. The auroras were dancing and rippling across the sky. There were flashes like lightning and they were very bright. Canon 40D, 400 & 800 ASA, 10-15s exposure, F2.8.
