This is my first aurora photograph!!!
I was out from 23:30 CEST as after the cold front we had very clear sky and I wanted to spent my time useful. :-)
I found a nice blooming sunflower field and photographed there, I had a very bright Milky Way so the circumstances were good - although the wind was blowing madly so the sunflowers were dancing :-)
I have an animation of rising Pleiades and Jupiter and made a crop of that to have a better view of the Northern sky part. The aurora is more easily visible there as it was moving. Here is the timelapse: http://youtu.be/qWsx1y7GFWA
