Never seen an aurora this close to the summer solstice over northern Scotland, and I only just managed to catch this dynamic display between the clouds. These images was taken during a very active phase around 0026 UT. I was literally watching the curtains develop and move, thus the short exposures. Taken with a Canon 60d, 400 ISO, f2.8, 4 second exposure !!!.
