This Perseid meteor was photographed 2012 08:06:22:30:49.73 PST or 2012 08:07:05:30:49.73 UTC/GMT. This photo was taken before the waning “Red Moon” had a chance to light up the night sky. I am looking forward to the next several nights as we move into the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. The moon will be rising later each night so we should have a great show by the 10 through the 13th of August.
