Details:
First of several images taken with a home built robotic camera system, fully autoguided and reseting. 17mm f/4, iSo 800 5 mins exposure with Canon XTi. this meteor is tumbling as it comes in, and the trail shows the effect by changing its brightness periodically.

The second image is a wide angle view same setup showing the moon, venus and the meteor

the third image is a close up of another brilliant perseid and the north america nebula.
