Details:
Had a pretty good breeze again all night with intermittant clouds blowing through, but never totally obscuring the sometimes very beautiful auroras. Early on these auroras had quite a bit of reds as well as the more common greens and yellows.

Shot with a Pentax K-5 with Pentax 10-17mm fisheye lens set to 10mm, f/3.5. The first three shots were taken at ISO 3200 with shutter speeds between 41 and 52 seconds. The last shot of star trails with auroras was shot at ISO 80, f/3.5, and the exposure is just shy of 64 minutes. These shots were captured between 11:20pm August 19, 2012 and 1:48am August 20, 2012. The auroras waxed and waned all night, and were still a low glow on the northern horizon when I called it quits at 4:00am.
