Details:
Unexpected Aurora, Kp=2 with IMF Bz 5.2 nT south. Aurora erupted at 1135pm 8-22-12 and lasted until nearly 1am 8-23-12. Four waves of vertical streamers were witnessed with green on bottom and red on top. Camera: Canon T1i, ISO 3200, 30 sec, f/4 17mm Tamron lens.
