Details:
After a long drive to Finland on sept 3rd/4th, I was back to Tromsø Norway. I went to a location close to Tromsø, called Ersfjord.

I have seen a few auroras in my life, and I have been to this location a few times, but this was just sick!! I am out of words! I think all I can say is WOW!

If this is what the coming years has to offer when our sun is heading into Solar Max, then we surely has something to look forward to.

Shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III + Canon EF 15mm 2.8 Fisheye, 2.5sec exposre, ISO5000.
