Details:
Some prominences move away from the sun at speeds of 750,000 mph or more. This prominence appears to be quiescent. That is to say that it looks as though it is just suspended above the suns limb. Of course nothing could be just suspended above the suns gravitational pull (with the exception of, perhaps, Michael Jordan).
