Details:

The same plasma cloud has changed shape and intensity in 6 hours but is still lingering above the surface.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
