A gigantic new Sun spot is merging on the Sun. Maybe promising chances of flares for the days ahead I image this new Sun spot number 1579 using a Lunt 80mm ed refractor with a Lunt solar wedge for white light images and a CAK module for the calcium k images camera was a Lumenera monochrome ccd
