Ceres (left) and Vesta (right), are identified in this stacked image from Sept. 21st, about 3-4am local.

Captured in the metro-Phoenix area, I used my Canon 2Ti with the 50mm(effective 85mm) f/1.8 lens , set at f/4, compiled of 15 3.2 second exposures, with 24 darks, ISO 1600. This minimized trailing, yet allowed enough light in to get the minor planets, about 7 degrees apart.
