Details:
Equinox night was a special night for me as I planned some photography at a nearby village. After finishing my evening shift on Friday I came home, slept 2 hours and then went out to Márkó, a small village not far from my hometown at the hills of Bakony. There is a nice little chapel at the edge of the village and starry sky is always beautiful with some pretty building. Thin cirrus clouds crossed the sky but they were not disturbing the view - on the contrary, it became much more interesting with them. The clouds caused aureoles around the bright stars so their colours became more enhanced. ISS came two times this night, the first was only a very short flyby at the horizon, but the second was a spectacular, bright and well-positioned. The International Space Station just crossed my pre-dawn sky rising in the square of Pegasus, flew above the chapel passing close to Polaris and set at the East into the clouds by the horizon.
