Details:
From left (east) to west, Sunspots 1581? (number to be assigned, brand new today), 1579, and to the right, 1575 are each larger than earth, and easily seen with naked eye, safely filtered. Dr. Wayne Wootens Pensacola State College Wednesday evening astronomy class got a last view of the setting sun, using the Solar Scope projection, at 6 PM as class started. Sun will be too low in later classes to see, but what a way to go....
