Details:
I checked Spaceweather.com around 9:30 and saw the aurora should be visible. I stepped outside and they were fairly bright. But as soon as I hopped in my car to find a better place to take pictures they faded out almost completely. After 2 hours of waiting they brightened back up with some red mixed in. I got a picture with Jupiter rising above a farm field. This is my 3rd time ever seeing the northern lights.
