Details:
Spaceweather aurora oval and alert were spot-on. Starting at 11pm PT a faint glow appeared above horizon. The intensity grew until 1am when an aurora exploded in huge curtains. I drove to our marina to capture the show. Canon EOS 20D, 17mm 5.6, ISO 1600, 19secs.

Nice! didnt check the oval before i went to sleep here NE of seattle...looks like it would have been a good show! sadly though with rain coming friday this may have been the last time we see them until spring or summer :(
