I had to fight a bit with the clouds all night, but this event was worth the fight, and I found some clearing here and there to shoot auroras. It was a spectacular display, with auroras reaching into the southern sky at 2:45 AM.

The first sequence is at the public boat landing on Rice Lake, south of Remer, MN. The second two are from the intersection of 64th Ave NE and County Road 4 just northwest of Remer. The fourth scene is from my back porch looking just to the south, and the last two scenes are from Trout Lake south of Bovey, MN.
