Details:
I was monitoring the charts on Monday night and when the graph went up to Kp=6 at 9:00pm local, I headed out in to the country. As soon as I cleared city lights I could see the glow, but during my short time out, thats all I got to see. The altitude of the band moved up to the Big Dipper and down again several times while I was out there. Didnt have time to stick around. I see some other Washington shooters had better luck that night.
