Details:
I was setting up my camera & tripod on my front porch to photograph beautiful Venus and the crescent moon Friday at 6:30 AM CDT--the two were within six degrees of one another--when an aircraft suddenly appeared from below the horizon on a collision course with Venus, and emitting an illuminated contrail. A case of being in the right place at the right time!
