Details:
The real show, we saw in Kitchener, ont. against a sky washed out with streelights everywhere. I didnt think to try to get a picture, as I had no tripod. These pics were taken a couple of hours later on a quiet country road near guelph, ontario. The show had died down, to the eye, it looked a bluish tinged grey against a pitch black sky. The 30 second exposures gave this result...

For the first photo, I did an automatic white balance and this is what came out, for the second photo, this was more how things looked to the naked eye, and for the third photo, this is how the camera saw it with no adjustments... 30 seconds time exposure.
