Details:
I looked out about 9pm and saw aurora through the light pollution and window. So I grabbed my gear and headed out. My first location was inundated with headlights, so I took a drive north, and found my planned location to be minimally exciting, packed up and around midnight pulled over seeing things picking up, and was gifted with one of the best aurora Ive ever been able to stand directly below.
