This image was captured during midnight between Oct 14 and 15 in Nordreisa, Norway.
The sky was swarming with low intensity auroras, but occasionally spiked. This is one of those spikes. Captured with a Nikon D800, 6s exposure, ISO1600 at an aperture of 2.8.
