Details:
While taking a test shot to check for Aurora activity I witnessed this event, it was slow moving and I thought for a moment that it may have been a satellite until suddenly it became very bright.

Hi, you saw an Iridium flare not a meteor. Go to heavens-above web to get the prediction of all the satellites passes and flares for your location.
