Details:
This is a composite of four Orionid meteor streaks looking east about four miles north of Marion, Iowa between 2:03-2:20 AM, Sunday, October 21, 2012. The shower display here was rather tame, with no fireballs or bright streaks seen. The constellation Orion is at upper right. The two bright stars at upper left are Castor and Pollux in the constellation of Gemini.
