Funny I remember 3200asa

I went back through my camera settings. That night I did 1420 image timelapes. Those images were shot at 3200ASA. Each time I changed positing of the lens, I did a few test shots and lowered the ASA to 400, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1600ASA. Just wanted to see how long of a exposure was needed to get a usable image. The moon was setting but high enough that it added to the illumination of the thin slush and ice forming on the surface. Also some light pollution from a nearby building added to the light source. South of my location in other parts of Alaska people reported Aurora displays.

Great shots Greg! its nice to see there are some other photographers up here in Prudhoe! We were on the haul road from 11 to midnight and caught the very good light show!
