On October 23rd, 2012, Comet 168P/Hergenrother and Comet C/2012 J1 (Catalina) had an encounter in Pegasus. I shot the get together with a Meade SN-6 scope and a modified Canon T3 DSLR. I did star-freeze processing (once for each comet) of the 9 sub-images I took and the results came out half-decent.
