It felt like the calm before the storm. You wouldnt know that a Frankenstorm was approaching because the weather was very mild this afternoon. As the sun was nearing the horizon, I noticed some beautiful sun dogs and then I looked up and saw a fabulous circumzenithal arc with a weaker upper tangent arc below it. I had never seen a circumzenithal arc before so I took a shot of the scene with my iPhone 4 and then enhanced it a little on the computer. Enjoy!
