More shots from that wild display. This time views to the north, over the top of the tree line, a view to the east, and the view from Lake Coeur dAlene, after I drove down out of the mountains. The display looked like it was hanging over the pass. It was still visible over city lights when I got back to Spokane.

A late note: To give you an idea of how far south the aurora had come, the pass is at 47°3717N. When I set up my camera for the last two shots shown, it was aimed SSE!

A correction to that last note, the camera was aimed ENE, not SSE.
