I had returned home from a road trip and saw something in the western sky my brain had a hard time processing. I did not know what I was seeing, but I was familiar with missile trails. I just thought they were very high altitude clouds and was later told they were called noctilucent clouds. This was the first time I had ever seen them.

Congratulations. A very nice shot! Good framing and nice composition. Plus, some ripple-like structures can be seen in this NLCs.
