Details:
This is a full sky view generated by stitching together 5 fisheye images into one immersive panorama. The sky has kept its familiar look but the ground gets heavily distorted.

It could possibly also be the view you get if you travel close to the speed of light :-)

Yesterday was a very clear night for being in the center of Stockholm but only about 50 stars were visible to the naked eye corresponding to magnitude 2-3. This is of course due to the air and light pollutions.
But the camera can catch several thousands stars in an exposure of a few seconds.

Canon Eos5D MkII with a Fisheye-zoom 8-15 f/4 set at 8 mm.
16 sec exposure at f/4 and 3200 Iso.
