Being an enthusiast Moon photographer I dont like simply throwing away any less-successful photos but try to find alternate ways to make the phenomena better somehow. These half-images were taken on 18th October and on 10th November at time when the Moon was near to the horizon. This resulted noisy and fuzzy images deserved to be deleted immediately. However, if they are glued together the sunrise and sunset on the surface of the Moon can be displayed in a common picture.
Photo details: Canon EOS 1000D + 254/1200 Dobson + 2x Barlow, 2 x 3 x 1/60sec, ISO200
