Details:
The auroras were very weak, but using a high ISO(3200), I was able to pull some color out of the sky, reds I could not see with my eyes. Then pushing a bit more with Photoshop, and smoothing out the sandpaper sky with Noise Ninja, I was able to make it look like something. Amazing now how digital cameras can see things we cannot. But no matter what, it was a good excuse to be out in the dark, even at -16F.
