Details:
Observation of Leonids 2012 by the AMOS (All-sky Meteor Orbit System) cameras at the AGO in Modra and at Arboretum Mlynany recorded the predicted (M. Maslov) activity of Leonids dust trail from 1400 AD. The composit image consists of bright 21 Leonids recorded in 3.3 hours (1:00-4:20 UT) on Nov. 20, 2012. Our video system is recording meteors down to +3.5 visual magnitude.

Regular observations by AMOS cameras are performed within the SVMN (Slovak Video Meteor Network). The first station is located at the AGO in Modra (Astronomical and Geophysical Observatory, Slovakia; MPC code 118), second station is located at the Arborétum in Mlynany,
80 km east. Another station works at the northern Slovakia (in Kysucké Nové Mesto), as a third vertex. The SVMN is led by J. Tóth.

Observation: Š. Gajdoš, L. Kornoš
Image processing: J. Tóth
