The Moon Halo was photographed over fortress Petrovaradin, Novi Sad, Serbia. The cold front is attributed to refraction in high altitude ice crystals.Thin high cirrus clouds lofting at 8.000m(or more)contain this tiny ice crystals behave like jewels refracting and reflecting in different directions. Left from the Moon is planet Jupiter. Nikon 5000, Sigma 20/1.8, exp.10sec, 400ASA.
