Details:
A sighting of the Aurora is a rare sighting in the south of Ireland, so you could imagine my delight when I noticed the pale glow in a northern direction outside my house. I managed to quickly snap this image across the road from my house, as the passing traffic made it very difficult to set long exposure times. I used my Canon 1100D to take this.
