Details:
Majestic auroras made their way over the skies on January 19th 2013. A friend and I went to Haukipudas, Finland. We grabbed our gear and walked straight onto the Baltic Sea.

Northern lights travelled over the horizon and I watched in awe how it changed in shape and strength. Only because of the bright moonlight one can grasp the vastness of the scenery. Imagine skiing on these tracks during night!

I was in agony trying to choose from over 700 time-lapse photos. Others had more action and I might share some later on. But this reflects my feelings the best, the calmness of the frozen Sea and the magnificent auroras
