Stargazer - Taken on a beautiful night on the frozen river just behind Hotel Ivallo in Ivalo, Finland. It was my last night in this lovely town, and the #Aurora decided to treat us all to a wonderful, albeit short, display of intense swirling greens, purples, whites all over the sky just above us. The light pollution from the hotel, and even the full moon, paled in comparison to the intensity of the Aurora that night. I decided to walk a little further across the lake, and spotted this stargazer just taking it all in. Sometimes I forget to do this, obsessing over the capture rather than the magnificent display above. Its nice once in a while...to just stop and stare. Thanks anonymous observer for the reminder!
