Another very frigid day here on the east coast. A fairly quiet sun with a couple of small but nice looking prominences but its too cold outside to spend much time at the eyepiece!

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
