Details:
I was taking multiple images of C/2012 F6 (LEMMON) for later processing when Jetstar flight JST166, an Airbus A320 on its way from Christchurch to Melbourne passed above at about 14,000 feet.

By shear coincidence, it happened to pass through the field of view of the camera as I was taking a 4s shot. The effect is rather striking I think.

Photo details: Canon 50D, 200mm, f4, 4sec, ISO 3200, mounted on a normal static tripod.
