Details:
This is Comet Panstarrs low in the south western sky over Tasmania, as seen from the summit of Mt Wellington in Hobart. The comet was indeed visible to the naked eye but quite fuzzy. These 60 second exposures really show the comet in all its glory. Photo details: Pentax K5 with Astro Tracer. 60 second exposures. ISO 800.
