Here is a huge detached solar prominence photographed over an 80 minute period. This was the first time I pushed my PST out to 1.6m focal length but this dropped exposure time to 1/13 seconds a frame and shot in 80 frame segments. Used DMK21 mono camera via IC capture and Registax 6 followed by Photoshop CS5 for animating. Seeing grade 2 to grade 4 and sequence between 10:22 and 11:40UT
