An absolutely amazing display of Aurora here in Ivalo, Northern Lapland, Finland this evening. The sky was fully illuminated by Northern Lights and we were treated to a wonderful display - curtains, spirals, ribbons - the works. All in all it lasted for 7 hours and, to be perfectly honest, we could have probably continued taking images 'til sunrise had some of our group - who'd be travelling all day - not been so worn out. Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mk II. Lens: Canon EF 24 mm f/1.4 ISO 800 Shutter Speed(s) 8 - 25 seconds Tripod: Gitzo Explorer with Kirk Ball Head Remote Control: Wired
