Even light pollution can't hold back the beauty of comet Lulin! Although larger, more sophisticated equipment shows exquisite details, even a small telescope and an old off the shelf camera or DSLR can reveal a beautiful nucleus and coma. Orange skies from city lights? Just adjust your white balance to the tungsten setting for a more pleasing result! My second smaller photo shows the difference. Exposures: Sony DSC F-717,only 30 seconds @ISO 400, afocal through a 40mm eyepiece and 120mm refractor.
