After reading about the color sunsets people were seeing due to the volcanic eruption, I went down to Mission Bay in San Diego to see for myself and take some pictures. The sky glowed for a good 30 - 40 minutes after the sun had set, which is very unusual in San Diego. I didn't see the streaks that other people have reported, just a strong pinkish orange glow.
