I noticed a green glow over the city lights when driving home at 9pm from a friend's slideshow. It wasn't until about 9:20pm that I was able to get up the hill and away from Lake Superior. Once on Devil Track, they were pretty good with bands and rays, but slightly dull. Every now and then they'd brighten up, but the display felt average (especially after the October surprise with the reds, the last event that we saw in northern MN because clouds have covered the rest). Great to see them! It's been a long dry spell. Nikon D200, 400 ISO, 35-70 @ 40mm, f/2.8, 20 seconds
